Most of the  Club was pleasantly surprised at the announcement this week of our decorated player Ronan Clarke to the position of manager of Armagh County Senior ladies.
Ronan fills the boots of another big man James Daly who has done a great job over the past number of years bringing Armagh Ladies back to the top table. He will be taking over a talented group of committed girls and along with Conor his brother provides a strong Pearse Óg connection at National level.
2015 has been an eventful year for Ronan and family with taking his fiancé ,Michelle McCoy, up the isle, taking a serious blow to the head during the championship match against Maghery, shortly after their Grandfather Danny McShane passed away, and then last month helping to bring Tullysaran to a County Championship.
Along with his No. 2 Lisa Woods, the Pearse Óg Club wish both Clarke's comhghairdeas agus
adh mór ort with their new managerial positions.
