Pearse Óg Youth dance for the Club.
This new year will see the opportunity for all under 18's in the Club to represent us in the Scór competition through Set dancing.
Set dancing has become one of the most popular forms of dance among the youth in Gaa Clubs demanding rhyme, fitness, coordination, and team work.
A set is made up of 8 dancers, the 8 forming a square or Set. The music danced to is traditional Irish gigs, reels, polkas etc and loads of examples can be found on You tube. Have a look at Clare Lancers set figure 1,2,3 or kilcummin
2012 set dancing champions for examples of what can be achieved.
We need you to put your names forward for the classes by texting Christiann on 0751 3872812
