Youth Football

Pearse Óg U-8 travelled to Davitt Park Lurgan this morning to play a series of games against both Clan Na Gael and Clann Éireann.
Brilliant display of skills and determination by both teams. The future of our great club is very bright!

Nursery & U-6 Groups

Well done to Our Under 6s & Nursery Group who played Harps on Sunday past in Abbey Park. Scores of parents turned up to watch both teams enjoy a great mornings football.
Whilst the P1s & P2s where busy both Clubs nursery kids continued with developing their fundamental skills. Well done to all players & many thanks to Harps for the invite.

 

Our Nursery & U-6 children were presented with medals & certificates by Armagh`s Joe McElroy in Pearse social club to reward them for all their hard work during the season past. Many thanks to all parents for their support through-out the year & we wish all the children moving up to U-8 all the best. Many thanks U-6 management!

Well done to our U-10 team on a fantastic mornings football in Tullysaran at the Kathleen McCabe memorial tournament. The team played Armagh Harps, Madden, Tullysaran, Naomh Eoin, An Port Mor & Ballymacnab, winning all their matches. We would like to thank Tullysaran for their hospitality & to the parents who continue to support the team each week.

U-10 Donal Powell Tournament 2017 was a great success with 23 teams from Ulster and Leinster in attendance. Many thanks to all our club members, families and friends who helped out on the day, to all the young gaels and managements for a great exhibition of football, to all the referee's, linesmen and umpires.
Special thanks to the Powell family who support this tournament each year and to our tournament sponsor Business Account Services for your continued support. Cup Winners - Newry Bosco, Shield Winners - Culloville, Plate Winners Granemore. Comhghairdeas líbh!

For the first time ever we entered 4 teams into the tournament and although we didn't win - all teams were finalists, which is a great reflection on our youth teams and bodes for a great future at Na Piarsaigh Óga.
